Echidna pencil and pastel drawing

Completed Echidna roaming somewhere in the Australian bush
I collected this echidna drawing from the framers this week. I was very pleased with
the mount and frame I chose. I enjoyed doing this coloured pencil and pastel drawing.

I was very pleased that my rabbit sold this week to a very good home. I really liked it and I was reluctant to part with it, but I am very happy I will still be able to see it at my brother in laws home.

Happy drawing artists. Let me know what you think please! I like feed back.

The Rabbit Finished

2016_02 Finished Rabbit - coloured pencil and pastel on black paper. Approx 26 X 18 cm
I am pleased with my completed rabbit. To make this rabbit I used mainly a variety of white coloured pencils and pastel pencils. There are such a variation of whites! Drawing on black paper felt like thinking backwards. We are so used to drawing on white paper.

What do you think? I love feedback especially if it is positive. I think we all suffer from self doubt.

My next blog will be of an oil painting I completed last Thursday. I have put it aside for a week to look at it will fresh eyes, before I declare it finished. Until next time.
